Some of you may have heard the 'rumor' that golf courses have 18-holes because there are exactly 18 shots in a fifth of Scotch. Though this sounds, pretty, super, cool, history doesn't quite back this rumor up.
Original golf courses had anywhere from 5 to 24 holes and over a long period of time, 18 holes became the standard for courses around the world.
Needless to say, this doesn’t make Scotch any less appealing... so, your friends at Monarch Beach Golf Links have found an article which outlines the 10 best affordable Scotches YOU can buy.
